French artist, from a family of concert pianists originally from Russia,Yolande Kouznetsov combines the tradition of a strong musical heritage with a journey always seeking original projects for all audiences.

After studying at the Regional Conservatory of Lyon (France) in the class of Marie Paul Aboulker and master classes with professors Svetlana Eganian, Sergueï Kouznetsov, Edson Elias, Jean Claude Pennetier and Pascal Devoyon; Yolande enters the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (France) in the class of Pierre Pontier, Svetlana Eganian and Florent Boffard. There she obtained her Masters in performing musician, pedagogy and the Certificate of Aptitude for piano teaching.

Laureate of international piano competitions, in 2019 she won first prize and a special prize at the Cantù international piano competition (Italy), as well as 2nd prize in the international piano competition of Agropoli in 2011.

ABÉLARD and Rammstein European Stadium Tour 2024

In 2024, she joins her classmate Héloïse HERVOUËT in a two-piano duo.

 

ABÉLARD will perform on the entire tour of the German industrial metal band RAMMSTEIN, for the European Stadium Tour 2024 for which they will be the Opening Act in two-piano covers of their songs.

Over 30 dates, they will travel to no less than 10 European countries and will play in the Olympic Stadiums of 16 cities in front of more than a million people.

Her career has led her to perform in many prestigious concert Halls, both as a soloist and in chamber music.

 

In Lyon, her hometown, she will play as a soloist at the Salle Molière, the Salle Varèse, the Théatre Astrée and the Palais de la Mutuality, but also in many other French scenes;  in piano 4 hands and two pianos alongside Svetlana Eganian at the Palais Jacques  Coeur  de  Bourges and the Atrium in Martinique ; to the Cité des Congrès in Angers and the Cité des Congrès in Nantes as a quartet alongside Charlotte Pugliese (violin),Pascale Pergaix (Viola) and Ulysse Aragau (cello) in 2023.

 

In Madeira, in a two-pianos duo with Svetlana Eganian, at the Baltazar Dias municipal theater. 

 

In Belgium she will play two pianos with Philippe Raskin at the  concert  hall  of the  royal  Conservatory of Brussels. 

 

In Russia as soloist in several concertos for piano and orchestra at the Bryansk Philharmonic Hall (Russia) with the Bryansk Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Edward Ambartsumyan :  in Gershwin's concertos in F, Shostakovich's first concerto and Rachmaninoff's fourth concerto.

 

In Germany with the Wernigerode Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Christian Fitzner in Mozart's double concerto with Svetlana Eganian as co-soloist. 

 

In France in Beethoven's 3rd concerto with the AGAPé Symphony Orchestra (Agde), under the direction of Francois Durand as part of the “Clavier dans tous ses états” festival.

 

Among her stage partners we also find the great cellist Mark Drobinski, (disciple, then assistant of Mstislav Rostropovitch), with whom she played in duo in 2022.

She has participated in numerous festivals such as   «Les Pianissimes» ; “A summer at Bourges » ; “ Chamber Music Festival " of Priory of Chirens ; “The Alizées festival" (Morocco), "Moscow art eveningss » in Sergiev Posad (Russia),  « Madeira piano fest »   (Madeira), the “ Sand & Chopin » festival at La Seyne sur mer… 

In 2021, she was called to appear in a scene of the TV movie “Intraitable » filmed in Beaune (France), with actor Fred Testot, where she can be heard performing the very beautiful standard “The man I love” by G.Gershwin.

Yolande teaches and composes. 

Her works for beginner pianists are published by H.Lemoine-Delrieu and Soldano.

 

During humorous and educational concerts, she had the opportunity to combine her skills as a composer and illustrator by creating six cartoons for the music conservatory of St Priest (France).

  Regularly invited as a jury, Yolande is, with Svetlana Eganian,  Co-Artistic Director of Lyon International Piano Competition, a major event of the city which takes place every year at the beginning of July. 

 

 She was recently a jury at the Santa Cecilia Piano Competition in the Junior category in Porto (Portugal) 2022 edition, International Music Festival Paris (France) since 2019 and the César Franck competition in Brussels (Belgium) 2021 edition.
